I made this model in 2002 after seeing The Fellowship of the Ring at the cinema.
Back then, I had neither a digital camera, nor a website to display
photographs,
and the model reflects the style and materials that were prevalent at that time.

The building was
mainly constructed from expanded polystyrene foam.

The base is mattboard with more expanded polystyrene cut and
sanded to form contours.

The pillars were
made from "spent" marker pens.

a foam plinth.
