Saving Tomato Seeds
Why save tomato seed?
1. It is cheap and easy
Collecting your own tomato seeds is
straightforward and will save you money. Note that if you grow
more than one variety of tomato, or your plants are pollinated
by insects, the seeds may well be a hybrid of both parent
plants. Commercially grown tomatoes are usually labelled with a
variety these days, and you can just as easily save seeds from
these. |
